Cuba says it’ll eliminate rule requiring exit visas to leave

A man in Havana reads a copy of the Communist Party newspaper Granma on Tuesday, which published a new policy that will no longer require Cubans to apply for an exit visa.

The Cuban government announced Tuesday that it will eliminate a halfcentury-old restriction that requires citizens to get an exit visa to leave the country.
