Search just beginning, Long says

Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long told the Little Rock Touchdown Club on Monday that he’s already doing a preliminary search for a new football coach.

Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long said Monday that his search for a permanent head football coach is still in the research phase, indicating that serious negotiations won’t be done until the end of the regular season in late November.

Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long updated fans and the media on the coaching search on Monday at the Little Rock Touchdown Club.
