Cards jump on Giants, hold on

St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Carlos Beltran (3) hit a two-run home run during the fourth inning of Sunday’s National League Championship Series opener against the San Francisco Giants. David Freese also hit a two-run home run and the Cardinals won 6-4.
This time, Carlos Beltran, David Freese and the St. Louis Cardinals took a six-run lead — and held onto it.
