Local Teams Chasing Southlake Carroll At Chile Pepper

The 24th Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival means different things to different people, but all agree it’s high-level competition.

24th Annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival

WHERE: Agri Park, Fayetteville.

WHEN: Saturday (11 a.m., prep boys invitational; 11:30 a.m., prep girls invitational).

NOTABLE: Open 10K race begins at 7:45 a.m., followed by the men’s and women’s collegiate races beginning at 9:45 ... Southlake Carroll of Southlake, Texas, is the defending boys and girls team champions. ... Maggie Montoya of Rogers High will try to win the girls invitational race for the third straight year.

Rogers Runners Try Their Hand At Triathlons
