CITY SEEKS COURT ORDER TO STOP NONCOMPLIANT BUSINESS

Siloam Springs is going to court in an attempt to force a recycling company to cease operation in the city.

USA Metal Recycling purchases ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal of all grades from the public, manufacturers, demolition contractors, and individuals. The scrap is then processed, sorted and prepared for sale to steel mills, brokers and exporters. The company is owned and managed by Kendra Smith. It has 8 locations in addition to its Siloam Springs facility:
- Springdale
- Fayetteville
- Lowell
- Van Buren
- Fort Smith
- Joplin, Mo.
- Neosho, Mo.
- Reeds Springs, Mo.

Great job Siloam Springs for standing up for your citizens and your city. I only pray that Lowell will follow in your foot steps and realize the health and quality of life for their citizens is more important than a dishonest business who feels he is above the law.
