Wal-Mart will webcast its 19th annual investors meeting from about 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Bentonville-based retailer said in a statement.
The meeting is scheduled to include presentations and question-and-answer periods on all three operating segments: Walmart U.S., Walmart International and Sam’s Club, the retailer said. Topics will also include growth plans and the company’s strategy for the next fiscal year.
The meeting will start with a strategy message from President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Duke. The CEO of each operating segment will also speak in the morning. The afternoon will feature presentations from Neil Ashe, CEO of Global eCommerce; Charles Holley, chief financial officer of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., on financial strategy and capital spending; and Duke on strategic priorities.
The live webcast will be available on the events section of the Wal-Mart website through a link provided at http://news.walmart.com/events/ and will be archived for replay, the company said.
The world’s largest retailer will release its third-quarter earnings for fiscal year 2013 on Nov. 15.
