College Approves Revisions
NEW BUDGET SLASHES $1.8 MILLION FROM SPENDING

NorthWest Arkansas Community College’s Board of Trustees approved on Monday a revised budget that will slash $1.8 million from expenditures beginning today.

Budget
NorthWest Arkansas Community closed its 2012 fiscal year on July 31 with $37,496,774 of revenue for the year. It spent $39,026,516. A $1,529,742 operating gap was covered by a $7,380,743 fund balance. The college’s 2013 fiscal year started with a $5,851,002 fund balance.
