Sparks: Jail Tool Working
NEW COMMISSARY HELPS KEEP PEACE

Chris Sparks, Benton County Jail commander, inspects an assortment of ramen noodles available through the commissary at the jail. Inmates with good behavior can order from the jail’s contracted service, motivating them to try to keep the privilege, Sparks said.
Granting Benton County Jail inmates the ability to purchase items like powdered coff ee, ramen noodles and deodorant is helping to keep the peace, and may help the county recoup expenses.
