Pea Ridge coach Tony Travis said his team missed a scoring chance or two in the first half, but the Blackhawks finally broke open a tight game in the second half.

Running back Dayton Winn rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns, including a 67-yarder in the second half, and the Blackhawks defense limited Gentry to less than 10 yards rushing as a team.

Why The Pioneers lost

Gentry never put together a rushing game and the Pioneers turned the ball over three times.
