100 YEARS AGO Oct. 5, 1912 FORT SMITH — J. F. Rourke of Little Rock, representing the Tedford Auto Company, agents for the Overland, and Joe Williams of Fort Smith made a record drive from Little Rock to Fort Smith in an Overland car today. They left Little Rock at 8 o’clock this morning, made three stops, reaching Fort Smith in eight hours and fifty-five minutes.
