Fayetteville got 17 points from Manuale Watkins and 16 from Tyler McCullough and built a 13-point lead early en route to a convincing 65-33 win against Memphis (Tenn.) Mitchell on Thursday at the Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo Tipoff Classic.

Ja’wan Smith added 11 points for Fayetteville (5-1) as the Bulldogs built a commanding 40-22 lead by halftime.
