Bentonville, Fayetteville depart for state championship

The Bentonville and Fayetteville high school football teams departed for Little Rock Friday morning. They meet at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for the 7A state football championship.

AR Preps, ArkansasOnline and NWAonline will provide live coverage of the game plus video features and a wrap-up when the game is over.
This is the third consecutive year the teams have met to compete for the championship. Bentonville won in 2010, and Fayetteville won in 2011.
