Railcar burns near Cato Springs and Razorback roads

Fayetteville emergency responders evaluate the situation after a train car caught fire Thursday afternoon near Cato Springs Road.

Fayetteville firefighters responded Thursday afternoon to a railcar fire near south Cato Springs and Razorback roads.

The call was received at 2:28 p.m. and under control by 2:49 p.m., said Mauro Campos, a battalion chief with the Fayetteville Fire Department.

The railcar was behind a concrete plant.
