— A man was robbed Wednesday after he arranged to meet a woman on Craigslist.

The man went to Foxfire Apartments on West End Street around 3 a.m., according to a police news release. Three men, one with a silver handgun, jumped him in the parking lot, beat him and took his wallet, cell phone and car keys, the news release stated. He fled north to Sunset Avenue, bleeding from wounds in his face, and called the police from a motel, stated the release.

Police responding to the 911 call found his car parked in the back of the apartment lot. The vehicle had been rifled with the CD player missing. The man was treated for his wounds at Washington Regional Medical Center. His name and medical condition were not released by police.
