The man accused of killing 6-year-old Jersey Bridgeman will be held in the Benton County Jail without bond.

Circuit Judge Robin Green ruled in a hearing Wednesday that the state has probable cause to hold Zachary Holly, 28, on charges of capital murder, rape, kidnapping and residential burglary. Authorities had not previously discussed the rape charge.

Holly appeared before the judge wearing black-and-white striped jail clothes. Jersey's family members along with police officers, lawyers and others filled the courtroom for Holly's appearance.

An inmate attacked Holly Tuesday morning, causing minor facial injuries, according to Capt. Chris Sparks. Holly lived at 702 S.E. A St., between Jersey’s home and the vacant house in which her body was found.
