The family of Jersey Bridgeman, their friends and coworkers, child advocates and police crowded into the chapel at Rollins Funeral Home this afternoon to honor Jersey’s memory.

Pink and purple flowers and stuffed animals surrounded her casket. A school photo showing the smiling kindergartner was propped nearby. Jersey, 6, was well loved, said Bob Rollins, founder of Rollins Funeral Home, pointing to the crowd.

“Our hearts are broken today and she will be dearly missed,” Rollins said.

Jersey’s body was found last week at a house near her Bentonville home. A neighbor, Zachary Holly, 28, was arrested Monday night in connection with a charge of capital murder.
