Pedestrian among two killed in road accidents

A Gepp man and a Booneville woman died from injuries they received in separate motor-vehicle accidents Friday and Saturday on Arkansas highways, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police reports.

It seems there have been a lot of traffic deaths in Arkansas in recent weeks. A lot of people are being killed in headon collisions when drivers cross the center line. What are state police doing about it? Any crackdowns on drunk drivers, etc.?
