Arkansas sophomore John Henson kicks his first college field goal. Henson replaced Zach Hocker after Hocker missed twice in the first half.
1st Quarter LSU 3, ARKANSAS 0 Arkansas moved swiftly on its first drive, with Cobi Hamilton catching 3 passes for 28 yards. A personal foul on Brandon Mitchell pushed back a Mekale McKay catch and run that had reached the LSU 6, but a Tyler Wilson scramble re-established first and-goal. Dennis Johnson broke a tackle inside the 5 on a play-action catch, but fumbled at the 2.
