100 YEARS AGO Nov. 23, 1912 WASHINGTON — That industrial training, often supposed to be a recent innovation in American education, was introduced into Indian schools in Arkansas 80 or 90 years ago, is shown by Stephen B. Weeks of the United States Bureau of Education in a bulletin entitled “History of Public School Education in Arkansas,” just issued.
