Hogs (4-7) play giveaway in worst loss to Bulldogs

Posted: November 18, 2012 at 5:19 a.m.

Arkansas Coach John L. Smith (left) reacts as Mississippi State’s Darius Slay (9) intercepts a fourth-quarter pass from Tyler Wilson intended for Cobi Hamilton (11). Slay’s 15-yard return was nullified by a Mississippi State personal foul, but Nick Griffin scored on a 60-yard run on the next play, giving the Bulldogs a 45-14 lead.

Arkansas didn’t put up much of a fight with its postseason hopes on the line Saturday.
