Slain man’s family sets $15,000 reward

— Family members of a man fatally shot at his home near Lake Conway have offered a $15,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in his death.

Larry W. Billings, 60, was found slain in the bedroom of his Canterberry Gap Road home Oct. 29. Billings, who owned the Conway Roller Rink, had been shot once.

Capt. Matt Rice of the Faulkner County sheriff’s office said investigators “have persons of interest,” but he would not elaborate.

Police still have not found Billings’ blue 2007 Nissan Titan pickup, which has been missing since he was killed, Rice said.

“We’re gaining ground every day [on the investigation], but we could always use the [extra] help,” Rice said.
