Memphis improves to league-best 7-1

— Zach Randolph had 20 points and 15 rebounds, Marc Gasol added 24 points and the Memphis Grizzlies handed the New York Knicks their first loss of the season with a 105-95 victory on Friday night.

Rudy Gay scored 17 points and blocked four shots, and Mike Conley added 16 points and eight assists as Memphis won its seventh in a row. The Grizzlies own the NBA’s best record at 7-1.

Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points for New York, while Raymond Felton finished with 18 points and five assists. Rasheed Wallace scored 13 points.

The Knicks shot 51 percent, but Memphis had 12 offensive rebounds, leading to a 22-12 advantage in second-chance points.

THUNDER 110, HORNETS 95

NEW ORLEANS — Kevin Durant and Kevin Martin each scored 27 points, and Oklahoma City rolled to its sixth victory in seven games. Serge Ibaka added 15 for Oklahoma City, which shot 54 percent (40 of 74) and built leads as big as 30 points in the first half and 34 in the second, allowing the starters to rest for the entire fourth quarter. Thabo Sefolosha scored 11 points, while Russell Westbrook had 10 points and 12 assists. Ryan Anderson scored 15 points for New Orleans.

WARRIORS 106, TIMBERWOLVES 98

MINNEAPOLIS — David Lee had 18 points and 13 rebounds and Golden State dominated inside in the victory.

PACERS 103, MAVERICKS 83

INDIANAPOLIS — David West and George Hill each scored 15 points to help Indiana beat Dallas. O.J. Mayo led Dallas with 19 points.

76ERS 99, JAZZ 93

PHILADELPHIA — Jrue Holiday scored 26 points to help Philadelphia 76ers beat Utah. Jason Richardson added 20 points for Philadelphia, which snapped a threegame home losing streak.

MAGIC 110, PISTONS 106

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — J.J. Redick scored 23 points, including a go-ahead three-pointer with 42.8 seconds left, and Orlando rallied to beat Detroit.
