University to Offer Online Option

— Drury University officials will meet with the public today about an online degree program that will be offered beginning in January to students in Northwest Arkansas.

The meeting will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at NorthWest Arkansas Community College’s Peterson Auditorium, 900 S.E. Eagle Way.

“Drury University will offer two online degree completion programs beginning in January 2013 aimed at students in Northwest Arkansas,” according to a university news release. “Drury will have an online education center in Bentonville, Ark., near NorthWest Arkansas Community College, to serve those students.”

A Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in organizational communication and development will be offered. The release states the degrees can be completed in two years following the completion of an associate degree from another college.

College officials will be at today’s meeting to answer questions, according to the release.

Drury’s main campus is located in Springfield, Mo.
