Tigers’ Smith Signs With Belmont

Nick Smith, a Bentonville basketball standout, is surrounded by family members Wednesday afternoon as the 6-foot-8 senior forward signs his national letter of intent with Belmont University. He is joined by his mother, Lisa Smith, seated from left, and grandfather Jack Smith, as well as his father Jeff Smith, standing from left, and younger siblings Ben, Hannah and Simeon Smith.
Nick Smith made an oral commitment to Belmont University in June, and he never wavered from that decision.
