HOT SPOTS LAKE MAUMELLE Crappie are biting well, especially on Baby Shad and Slab Slay’Rs in red/chartreuse, bone white, pearl and orange/chartreuse in deep water. White bass can be found in deep water in the channel and river. For bream, head for deep water and use night crawlers, red worms, meal worms, crickets and rock hoppers. Bass are hitting tequila sunrise and dark-color worms, spinner baits, Rooster Tails and Flukes.
