Rogers Government Needs Change

— As we move forward in the city of Rogers, we have experienced much change. Our population continues to grow. Our school system is one of the best in the state.

Our infrastructure must continue to keep up with the growth.

The election of Mayor Greg Hines is a positive change. Rogers city government still needs to change to meet the needs of changing demographics.A positive change would be made in the election of Carlos Chicas to the City Council. Chicas comes to the table with a degree in accounting and a degree in business management.

He is active in the Minority Leadership Council with the Rogers Police Department, active in the chamber of commerce, board member of the Rogers Public Education Foundation and Community Health Clinic. Chicas is gifted with great communication skillswith his background in broadcasting and as the voice of the Razorbacks in Spanish.

As city councilman, Carlos Chicas would help peacefully bridge Rogers into the community of the future. Early voting in this runoft election starts Nov. 20 and Election Day is Nov. 27. Let us emplower Rogers and build good neighbor relations.

RogersWHERE ARE THE

US PRODUCTS?

We received the famous L.L. Bean Christmas catalog and were extremely disapointed. Seventysix items were listed as imported, one item as made in Maine, and six items as manufacturer not shown.

This year, we will stick to good old U.S.A. products, and hope most everyone else does.
