Lower demand for gas drops average to $3.19

Pump prices less than a year ago in 28 states

Michael Heavner fills his car with gasoline that cost less than $3 a gallon at the Dodge’s Store on South University Avenue in Little Rock on Monday afternoon.

Gasoline prices in Arkansas have dropped about 42 cents since mid-October, and industry analysts expect prices to continue to fall into the winter months.
