3 killed, 3 injured in Sunday crashes

— Three car crashes left three Arkansans dead and three others injured Sunday, according to Arkansas State Police crash reports.

Kelsey Goode, 28, of 5519 N. Main St. in North Little Rock, was headed south on Interstate 540 in Crawford County around 11:36 a.m., during heavy rains, when her vehicle left the roadway and hit an embankment near the 39-mile marker.

Her vehicle overturned after the impact, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Malvern man, Thomas Gulley, 67, of 405 N. Bank St., was driving west on Interstate 30 when his vehicle started to drift into the outside lane near the 60-mile marker.

Gulley hit the rumble strip, reports said, and over corrected, spinning the vehicle 180 degrees and sending it into a roll, which ended when it struck a tree.

Gulley was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger, Sandra Jean Dendy, 54, of Malvern, was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia.

About 9:33 p.m., Patricia Miller was driving east on Prairie Creek Drive when she crossed into oncoming traffic with her 2004 Cadillac De-Ville and crashed into another vehicle near Arkansas 12.

Miller, 66, of 8623 Golf Creek Drive in Rogers, died. The two in the westbound vehicle, Joseph Eddy, 21, and Connie Eddy, 61, both of Rogers, were injured and taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville.
