Arkansas Tech could clinch its first winning season since 2009 with a victory.

SW OKLAHOMA STATE AT HARDING

WHEN 2 p.m.

WHERE First Security Stadium, Searcy RADIO KVHU-FM, 95.3, in Searcy INTERNET hardingsports.com RECORDS SW Oklahoma State: 3-6, 2-5 Great American Conference; Harding 8-1, 6-1 SERIES Harding leads 4-3 COACHES SW Oklahoma State: Dan Cocannouer (12-30 in fourth season); Harding: Ronnie Huckeba (30-30 in sixth season) WHAT TO WATCH FOR Harding most likely needs a victory today to reach the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time. The Bisons are ranked No. 4 in the most recent Super Region 3 rankings, and six teams are selected. The top four teams are ensured a home playoff game, but Harding could fall all the way out of the field with a loss. With a victory and a Henderson State loss, Harding could also claim a share of the Great American Conference title.

NW OKLAHOMA STATE AT ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO

WHEN 3 p.m.

WHERE Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium, Monticello RADIO KHBM-FM, 93.7, in Monticello INTERNET uamsports.com RECORDS NW Oklahoma State: 2-7; Arkansas-Monticello: 1-9 SERIES Arkansas-Monticello leads series 2-0 COACHES NW Oklahoma State: Alan Hall (2-7 in second season); Arkansas-Monticello: Hud Jackson (6-15 in second season)WHAT TO LOOK FOR This is UAM’s last chance for another victory this season. Hud Jackson’s second season opened with a victory Sept. 1, but the Boll Weevils lost nine consecutive games since. The Boll Weevils allowed 372 yards rushing in last week’s loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State. But Northwestern Oklahoma State has struggled, too, in its first season as a provisional NCAA Division II member. The Rangers rank last in the Great American Conference in scoring offense, scoring defense, rush offense and rush defense.
