Two more Benton County early voting machines remained to be processed at 9:20 p.m. Paper ballots had been processed but not tallied.
Initial results included some early votes, but no paper ballots were included in the first results release, said Kim Dennison, election coordinator.
Sue Scott, a candidate for the Arkansas Legislature, was at a Republican watch party in Benton County.
"We've been watching the same results since 7:45 (p.m.)," she said. "People are getting tired and going home."
Cars delivering machines and ballots used at Benton County polling places are pulling in one at a time as polling places close. Commissioners are still counting absentee ballots. They are being processed alphabetically, and the commissioners reached "W" by 9:30 p.m.
