Man dies after shooting at party

A man died last night after he was shot during a party, a report from the Pulaski County sheriff's office said.
John Jacob Mosley, 37, of Cabot died from a gunshot wound around 10:30 last night, the report said. He was attending a party at 7925 Bayou Drive in Scott when he was shot in the chest. He was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
A bullet also grazed Charles Edward Wilmoth, 55, of Little Rock across the face during the shooting, the report said. His injuries were minor.
Deputies arrested Terry Lynn Detherow, 45, of England, Ark., in the shooting at the Travel Lodge in Little Rock. He was found at the lodge with his girlfriend who had a laceration on her mouth and had been battered in the room, the report said. Detherow faces murder and domestic battery charges.
