Church treasurer pleads guilty to theft

A former church treasurer has admitted to stealing thousands of dollars from Twelve Corners Baptist Church. Catherine Spivey, 43, of Pea Ridge pleaded guilty Thursday to theft of property, a Class B felony, which is punishable with a prison sentence ranging from five to 20 years.
