FAYETTEVILLE — Police will step up traffic enforcement on Wedington Drive between Shiloh Drive and Salem Road today and Thursday.
The increase enforcement is done to reduce vehicle accidents by looking for the following:
- Following too closely
- Failure to yield
- Failure to signal turn or lane changes
- Improper right turn
- Disobeying traffic signals

Police said those violations are the most common contributing factors to wrecks in Fayetteville and nationwide.
