LPGA's Lewis donating $100,000 to Razorbacks

— Stacy Lewis, the world's No. 2 ranked female golfer, has donated $100,000 to the University of Arkansas, the school announced Wednesday.

Lewis, who played for the Razorbacks from 2005-08, earmarked the gift for expansion to the school's golf facilities at Blessings Golf Club in Springdale.

The Woodlands, Texas native has won twice on the LPGA Tour this year and won one of the sport's four majors in 2011 at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

Lewis is the highest-ranked American female golfer and is one of the participants in this week's Walmart Northwest Arkansas LPGA Championship at Pinnacle Hills Country Club in Rogers.
