LITTLE ROCK — Both drivers were killed late Monday night in a collision in Gentry between a Mack truck and a pickup, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report.
Authorities say Donnie Kirby, 51, of Siloam Springs, was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 south on Highway 43 shortly before midnight when he failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 12.
The pickup reportedly collided in the intersection with a westbound Mack truck driven by James K. Luttrell, 66, of Kansas, Okla.
Kirby and Luttrell died from injuries sustained in the crash, authorities said.
