FAYETTEVILLE — Former Washington-Madison County Drug Court Judge Mary Ann Gunn can now add an Emmy to her resume.
Gunn’s television show, “Last Shot with Judge Gunn,” which is based on her work as a judge in Arkansas, won the Daytime Emmy for outstanding legal/courtroom program in syndication Saturday night.
The show beat out the other nominees, “America’s Court With Judge Ross,” “Judge Joe Brown” and “We the People With Gloria Allred.”
Gunn spent 12 years as an elected judge serving Washington and Madison counties before retiring in June 2011 to work on the television show.
