Starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel (Arkansas Razorbacks) made his major-league debut with the Houston Astros on June 17 at Texas. Keuchel allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 5 innings, earning a no-decision in the Astros’ 9-3 loss to the Rangers. The left-hander took Bud Norris’ spot in the Astros’ starting rotation after Norris was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained knee.

WHO’S HOT DELTA CLEARY (Jonesboro) saw his batting average rise to .304. In 9 at-bats during 3 games, Cleary scored 3 runs on 5 hits, including 3 doubles and a home run, with 2 RBI. He also stole one base.

ZACK COX (Arkansas Razorbacks) saw his batting average rise to .226. In 22 at-bats during 7 games, Cox scored 5 runs on 8 hits, including 3 doubles and a home run, with 6 RBI.

WHO’S NOT JONATHAN DOOLEY (Henderson State/De Queen) struggled in his only outing of the week June 15 against Cedar Rapids. Dooley allowed 3 runs on 5 hits and walked 3 batters in 2 2/3 innings.

JAMES MCCANN (Arkansas Razorbacks) saw his batting average drop from .284 to .270. In 20 at-bats during 5 games, McCann had 3 hits and scored a run.
