TEXARKANA — Julienne and Richard Hall will celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 28, 1941. She is the former Julienne Dow. He is a civil engineer with Hall Surveying and Engineering. They are the parents of Jeanne Milazzo of Dallas and Rick Hall and Sue Ellen Hall, both of Texarkana. The couple have five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

BENTON - Carroll and Sue Harrison will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 28, 1957. She is the former Sue Davila and retired from Union Bank of Benton. He is a retired Little Rock police officer. They are the parents of Faith Gautney of Benton and Tina Manning of Alexander. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

DEVALLS BLUFF - Helen and Don Holloway celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 16, 1962. She is the former Helen Ponds. Both are retired schoolteachers. They are the parents of Michael G. Holloway of DeValls Bluff and Rai Mundo Holloway and La Donna Holloway Oates, both of Little Rock. The couple have one grandchild.

Gertrude and Kenneth Beard of Little Rock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 24, 1962. She is the former Gertrude Johnson and a bookkeeper and co-owner of Beard Breeding Painting Co. He is president and also co-owner of the company. They are the parents of Betty Ann Horne of Marietta, Ga.; Vicki Campbell of Tulsa; and Scott Beard, also of Little Rock. The couple have seven grandchildren.

SEARCY - Marcella and Karyl Bailey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 2 at Holly Lake Resort. The couple were married June 2, 1962. She is the former Marcella English. Both are retired from Harding University. They are the parents of Lori Vesperman of College Station, Texas, and Lance Bailey of Searcy and have four grandchildren.

Josie and Lewis Smith of Sherwood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 25, 1962. She is the former Josie Weaver. He is a retired salesman for Mill and Mine Supply. They are the parents of Terry Smith and Cary Smith, both also of Sherwood. The couple have four grandchildren.

Ophelia and Elvin Johnson of North Little Rock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 16 with family at the Benihana in North Little Rock. She is the former Ophelia Glass and a retired teacher from the Pulaski County Special School District. Johnson is retired banquet supervisor at the Doubletree Hotel. They are the parents of Todd Johnson and Courtney Johnson, both of Little Rock; Caroline Banks of Dallas; Alton Johnson, also of North Little Rock; and Deon Johnson of Plano, Texas. The couple have 19 grandchildren.

MORRILTON - Ernestine and Clifton Robertson have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 16, 1945. She is the former Ernestine Willis and a retired special education paraprofessional. He is a retired textile worker. They are the parents of Clifford Robertson of Louisville, Ky.; Rickey Robertson of St. Louis; Byron Robertson and Peggy Robertson-Wolfe, both of Sherwood; Linda Robertson-Fleming and Theresa Robertson, both of Little Rock; Burnett Robertson of Fort Smith; and Elaine Robertson-Brown of Plumerville. The couple have 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Kathryn R. and Jerome H. Hamner of Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 21, 1952. She is the former Kathryn Roady. He is retired from Union Pacific Railroad. They are the parents of Harry J. Hamner and William H. Hamner, both also of Little Rock. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy and Donald Ellis of Sherwood will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary July 10 with a family reception. The couple were married June 8, 1947. She is the former Dorothy Harriell and retired from Crow Burlingame. Both are owners of Ellis Jewelers. They are the parents of Cindy Lang, also of Sherwood, and have three grandchildren.

DIERKS - Ann and Keith Gilbert have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 14, 1952. She is the former Ann Vancil. He is a retired superintendent of Dierks Public Schools. They are the parents of Van Gilbert of Katy, Texas; Sonya Gilbert Miller of De Queen; Steven Gilbert of Magnolia; and Ben Gilbert of Little Rock. The couple have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

LONOKE - Beverly and Eugene Ketchum will celebrate their 50th wedding Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. with a reception at the home of Twilla and Billy O’Cain. The couple were married June 30, 1962. She is the former Beverly DeLamar. Both are retired. They are the parents of Pam Steele and Gene Ketchum, both of Lonoke. The couple have one grandchild.
