Oklahoman, 26, facing 2 murder counts

— Authorities in Oklahoma have arrested a 26-year-old man on two first-degree murder complaints in the death of a 20-year-old woman who was pregnant.

LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt said authorities arrested Christopher Kenyon Simpson of Fort Coffee, Okla., late Thursday. He’s accused in the April death of Kaloni Flynn, who was living in Fort Smith.

Authorities told the Fort Smith newspaper Southwest Times Record that Flynn was 12 weeks pregnant at the time of her death, which is why Simpson was arrested on two murder counts.

Flynn’s body was found inside a car between Spiro and Pocola, Okla., on April 9. Authorities said she was shot to death.

Simpson was being held without bond. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
