The Little Flock Police Department was honored recently with the Seven Seals Award from the Arkansas Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the Department of Defense.
The award recognizes “meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the Arkansas National Guard and Reserve,” according to a news release.
Little Flock officials reviewed and amended human resource policies to ensure compliance with the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act Law, according to the release.
“We are honored to receive this award, and honored to employ officers that sacrifice so much for their community and nation,” said Jesse Martinez, Little Flock police chief.
