PARAGOULD — Authorities in Paragould say a man has died after he was stabbed in the upper body during a fight.
Police say the fight happened at about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday night at a home in Paragould. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment, but authorities say he did not survive.
Jonesboro television station KAIT reports that authorities arrested a suspect Thursday morning across the border in Senath, Mo. The police department says the man was arrested without incident at a gas station.
Police have not yet released the victim’s name, pending notification of his family.
