Representatives from the Abilene, Texas, Chamber of Commerce awarded the Little Rock Air Force Base Community Council Wednesday with the Abilene Trophy.

The annual award, which the council has received twice in three years, honors civilian Air Force community leaders for "outstanding support" to nearby Air Mobility Command bases, according to a LRAFB release.

Recipients of the Abilene Trophy are selected by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee and approved by the AMC.
