A study involving 416,175 Taiwanese adults found that 92 minutes a week of moderate exercise decreased the risk of mortality by 14 percent. For each additional 15 minutes of exercise per day - not per week - mortality risk fell by about 4 percent. A New York Times article in Monday’s ActiveStyle section about exercise’s effect on mortality incorrectly stated the frequency of additional exercise.
