BENTONVILLE — The Bentonville School Board is moving to a zone format, and board positions will be up for election in September.
Board members are responsible for setting policy for the district and for hiring and supervision of the superintendent of schools to put those policies into effect, according to a news release.
Information regarding how to file to run for school board is available at the Benton County Clerk’s office, 215 E. Central, and the Bentonville School District Administration Office, 500 N.W. Tiger Blvd.
The election will be held Sept. 18.
