Students Participate In Food Panel

Jaquelin Troncoso, an Eastside first-grader, taste tests a cupcake with bubblegum flavored frosting in the sensory testing lab at the Sam’s Club Home Office in Bentonville on Monday. Helping Jaquelin with the test was Sam’s Club bakery buyer Paul Tichenor. Jaquelin was with a group of students from Eastside Elementary School in Rogers and Elm Tree Elementary School in Bentonville who were given a tour of the home office labs and kitchen facilities.

Becky Purcell has done an excellent job serving on the school board. She is a very refreshing 'listening ear' offering genuinely thoughtful reflection on difficult situations. She will genuinely be missed this next 'cycle.'
