The proceedings in her case were suspended in November after her attorney requested a mental evaluation. The results of the evaluation are not back, so Monday’s hearing was going to be reset pending return of the findings of the evaluation.

Truong’s appearance went smoothly when she appeared before Circuit Judge Robin Green, who gave a new date — Feb. 21. — for the hearing.

Deputies began removing a screaming Troung from the courtroom and she bit a deputy in the encounter.

Truong is accused of shooting and killing 41-year-old Minh Van Trinh.
