25 Years Of 3-Pointers

The 3-point shot, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, was first adopted by colleges, then added to high school competition. The 3-point shot was the most dramatic rule change in basketball since the addition of the shot clock.
Brad Stamps and Barry Gebhart got down on their hands and knees in the summer of 1987 to make big changes to the playing surface at Fayetteville’s Bulldog Gymnasium.
