Hotel Tax Boosts Revenue
$35,000 SET ASIDE FOR EMERGENCIES

A 2 percent tax is incorporated at all hotels in Springdale to pay for the city’s advertising and promotion budget. In 2011, Holiday Inn contributed $56,330.
The Advertising and Promotion Commission, for the first time in at least 10 years, was able to set aside money for emergencies.
