Trails Lit By Solar Energy

Brendan Hungate, left, and Braxton Leichner, employees with Multi-Craft Contractors, Inc., monitor a co-worker breaking up hard rock down in a 10-foot-deep hole Wednesday near the Shiloh Square in Springdale. A drill was able to dig most of the hole, but hard rock near the bottom made the crew work with a jackhammer to finish. Multi-Craft is going to install a 70-foot wind turbine to provide an alternative energy source for the Razorback Greenway that will pass through the spot. The turbine is being paid for by the Department of Energy.
