LINCOLN CHARTER SCHOOL SEES DROP IN ENROLLMENT

The Lincoln School District could lose an estimated $400,000 or more next school year because of a drop in enrollment in its Academic Center of Excellence, a charter school within Lincoln High School.

Residents Honor King

Marchers walk along Arkansas Avenue on Monday for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. parade and vigil sponsored by city of Fayetteville, the Northwest Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Planning Committee, University of Arkansas’ Associated Student Government and the Black Student Association. The march led hundreds of walkers from the parking lot of the Walton Arts Center to the Verizon Ballroom at the University of Arkansas Union for a vigil which featured speakers and singers.
